Today was a clear bright blue day where the fall air froze the images of surrounding buildings into the pool water. The air was cool just before jumping in submerging the whole body in a single decision. The bubbles rising glimmered in the sunlight. The cold water snapped the mind into crystal clarity. SwimMing was effortless with each foot feeling the water glide by as the torso swiveled in the water.
The fluid beauty of calm water was a silent joy. I am thankful to be alive in a world that offers so much.
